Use of Artificial Intelligence
The journal EDUCA expresses its full adherence to the principles established in the Heredia Declaration: Principles on the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Scholarly Publishing (Click here).
As a publication committed to quality, ethics, and academic integrity, we adopt the guidelines of this Declaration to ensure the responsible, transparent, and secure use of artificial intelligence tools throughout all editorial processes. This implies that:
-
Responsibility for content lies exclusively with human persons; artificial intelligence cannot appear as an author nor be responsible for manuscripts, reviews, or editorial decisions.
-
Authors, reviewers, and editors are required to declare any use of AI tools, specifying their type and scope.
-
Confidential content, such as manuscripts under review or sensitive data, may not be entered into AI systems unless there are explicit guarantees of security and protection.
-
AI-generated content that violates principles of originality, truthfulness, or scientific integrity is not accepted, including fabricated data, invented references, or manipulated results.
-
Images, tables, or graphics generated by AI must be clearly identified and may not replace real data in scientific research.
-
The editorial team will promote ongoing training on the ethical use of AI within the sphere of scholarly publishing.
