Traducción y adaptación transcultural al español del Teachers’ Response to Bullying Questionnaire (TRBQ)

Resumen

El acoso escolar impacta negativamente en el bienestar emocional, mental y académico del alumnado. La percepción que tienen los estudiantes sobre la respuesta que ofrece el profesorado ante situaciones de acoso resulta clave para valorar y mejorar la convivencia escolar. El objetivo de esta investigación es traducir y adaptar transculturalmente al español el Teachers’ Response to Bullying Questionnaire (TRBQ), diseñado específicamente para evaluar esta percepción del alumnado. Para ello, se siguió un diseño que incluyó un proceso de traducción y retrotraducción realizado por traductores profesionales. Además, se evaluó la comprensibilidad en una muestra piloto de 40 alumnos de Educación Secundaria Obligatoria. Este proceso dio como resultado la versión española del TRBQ con alta equivalencia conceptual respecto al instrumento original, que permitirá en contextos hispanohablantes valorar, de forma fiable, estas percepciones. Asimismo, la disponibilidad de esta versión adaptada sienta las bases para futuras validaciones psicométricas y para el desarrollo de intervenciones educativas más efectivas orientadas a la prevención del bullying en entornos hispanohablantes.
